I wonder if Wal-Mart knows about this site? Do you think they would shut it down if they did? Or would they pay you as a form of extremely off-beat advertising? It seems like a lot of people come here. Either way, Wal-Mart still sucks. They are destroying urban culture and putting independent stores out of busininess while censoring magazines, music and books out the wazoo. What is going to happen when Wal-Mart owns all the market in the US? No more music deemed non- corporate friendly and no more city life. Enough of my rant.

I've never been to Wal-Mart. I went to Home Depot today, though. I usually try to get stoned before I go in because of that sign that says they screen all potential employess for drugs. I have a feeling WM participates in that sort of privacy invasion of the people who work for them also. I hate that sign. If there's any job that would require a bit of escape while working, Wal-Mart employee is pretty high (ha!) on the list. So I take a couple of protest hits off the old bong in imaginary solidarity with the Wal-Mart worker being denied this simple pleasure just so he/she could support themselves and their family in this cruel, unforgiving world, and also as a big Fuck You to the stupid drug laws of this country and those that buy in to the propaganda. But I forgot to save my receipt.

Hey Anon, I understand what you mean. Those greeters suck, and if anything stronger than marijuana was involved there's no telling what kind of long lasting damage might occur (to either party) . I tell you, those greeters don't know the fine line they're walking. And don't let the goddamn big box, consumer/cattle herding, main street destroying retailers intimidate you. The pleasure of seeing things differently than the whole mass of lemmings looking to buy mayonnaise in bulk is not to be missed. And so what if you end up in the gardening section - what better way to experience nature?

I tried shopping high at the mart before but ended up walking out with a bunch of those maxis w/ wings stuck to my face. I swear, I have no idea how they got there. And they tripped the alarm as I left because they've all got little bar codes in them. Did you know that? Why would they track individual maxis w/ wings? Be free little maxis, fly away, be free!

I went to school with William P Twl. He was one strange dude - he always had lizard races and he'd paint racing stripes on the lizards with model paint. He had a thing for azaleas in clay pots and refrigerator/oven bulbs too. I wonder what he's up to these days.

Sure, it's 100% recycled paper, but what's the point it they waste so much of it with that huge top margin? Hey Shopping High, I hear ya. But be careful... I went shopping high at Wal-Mart last year (they sell beer at the Wal-mart where I live) I approached the counter with 2 12 packs and a rather nasty mushroom buzz. The total was something like 17 bucks and I gave the cashier 40 bucks. She looked at the wad of money and back at me (sweating profusely) at refused service to me. By this time, one of the greeters that over-heard the conversation and appeared ready to act out one of his law-enforcement fantasies that he never acted on during his illustrious volunteer fire career. You have been warned.
