For as wired as I am, I always seem to hear about arts events too late. The most recent one missed was "Fargo: A Mostly True Story", about the friendship between two Fargo "survivors," each of different sexual preference. It opened in Fargo, and will hit a number of international cities this year.

A small indie group is still releasing on vinyl -- not completely unique, but they're doing it classy, with colored vinyl and in a subscription format. Tres cool. They did taint the coolness by releasing a CD version, but we can forgive them that, since few radio stations anymore even have the ability to get music off a record player and on the air.

Talking cats rock. I may just be having an odd morning, but that made me laugh until my eyes watered.

The 48 Hour Film Project is in Fargo. Part of me screams, "YEAH! WOOO! LET'S MAKE A MOVIE!!!!" while the rest of me says, "Dude, you know nothing about movie making, let alone good enough to do it in 48 hours. Plus, you missed the first meeting. Loser." I may have to keep track of the contest, though; interesting things come from short deadlines.
